About Commissioner Walker

Commissioner Robert Walker

The Walker family has deep roots in Montgomery County, having resided here since 1876. The Walkers continue to live on the land purchased by Robert's grandfather. In 1993, Robert and Janet established Walker Feed and Farm, a thriving business that caters to the local residents.

Robert's unwavering dedication to his community stems from his lifelong connection to Montgomery County. His commitment to the area's well-being is evident in his successful businesses, which prioritize honesty and integrity in serving neighbors and friends.

When Robert ran for Commissioner in 2019, he drew on his experience as a small business owner and his intimate knowledge of the county to connect with voters. His victory was a testament to his genuine understanding of the values important to Montgomery County residents.

Robert was re-elected in 2024 without facing any opponents, underscoring the trust and support he enjoys from the community. In response, Commissioner Walker remarked, “It is such an honor to serve our community and I appreciate all of your friendship and encouragement! We’ve accomplished a lot during my first term and I look forward to continue working hard for our community! Thank you for your trust. God bless Montgomery County!”
